365 Project, Day 69

And here we have an Oooh Baba. They're extremely fast, but become fascinated with the smallest things, so then fall easily fall prey to the nearest predator.  They're an endangered species.... obviously.

365 Project, Day 68

Happy Black Friday.  Isn't materialism grand.

365 Project, Day 67

Sorry Folks, it's Turkey Day at my house.  This is all you get. And no, my turkey is not backwards. I'm left handed and everyone else's turkeys are backwards.

365 Project, Day 64

The Floating Nedervest.  About the size of a blue whale, some think he has given rise to the tales of giant squids attacking ships. They couldn't be farther from the truth. The Floating Nedervest has actually held up ships after they've capsized and saved the crews.

... well, he may eat one or two of them if he's hungry.

365 Project, Day 63

Mr. Smith will see you now, sir.
A dealer in dreams. If dealing means stealing and eating. Generally a citizen of the shadows, Mr.Smith can also be seen in that dull gleam of the depressed eye.

365 Project, Day 62

One of the Fae.  She's naked, why?  Because they don't give a crap about clothes.  Would you, with all that power and near immortality?  Would you really concern yourself with such mortal desires.

Anyways, the one pictured here has a name I can't pronounce and took pleasure in luring mortals into swamps to suffer from the boglumps.  She also enjoyed saving them.  Depends on the moon.

365 Project, Day 61

I give you Boglump.  A skittish little creature, yellow-brown in hue. Generally the size of a large door mouse.  Very good at disguising themselves as swamp bubbles or lumps of viscous algae.

365 Project, Day 59 and 60

I was a bit late on yesterday's post and then sleep got to me before I could post it, so I give you Wednesday's and today's post together.

I'm also going to start up a different format starting tomorrow.  Instead of trying to do a consecutive story, I'm going to challenge myself with a new character design or creature design every day.

This last format really wasn't cutting it in the "warm-up" category and actually seemed to hindere my primary project, Seedlings, from moving forward the way I wanted it to.  I'm hoping that the character and creature designs, which I plan on only taking 10 or 15 minutes on each, will jump start the thinking process as well as loosen the wrist and fingers.

What new worlds we might discover!

365 Project, Day 54

And with a mighty stroke I slew the Dandelion King.  (A little over dramatic if you ask me.)

365 Project, Day 48

A little more contrast, some filler in the vines, a big ol' mountain and voila, Day 48.

365 Project, Day 47

That's quite some fertilizer you got there, mister!

365 Project, Day 46

Thursday's post.

Due to conference's poor planning and a homicidal doll house, that attempted to trip me and send me flying down the stairs but only succeeded in throwing my back out while twisting around to get my balance, the update didn't quite make it out yesterday.  So, here is yesterday's and today's will be uploaded a bit later.
