A quick warm up, nothing in mind sketch before diving back into Seedlings.

Wolf Warm Up

Here's a quick warm up sketch I did to loosen up my hands and get them familiar with some body posturing.

Yeah.  I'm feeling the fatigue. I just wish more of it was from working on the book too much, but alas, Life has other plans at times.

Blue Birds

Here's a picture I did for my girl's soccer team that I coached this year.  Their name, of course, was the Blue Birds.

Here's a look at another reference sketch I'm using for The Seedlings comic.  All of my characters have their different markings and I once again found myself looking back and forth to my old pages for references.

The Usual Suspects

Just some warm ups I did to get a better idea of what the size differences are between characters.

I'm trying to get a better grasp for the visuals of this without having to constantly go back and forth between the page I'm working on and the pages that I've completed.

I've been doing this since high school and I'm still learning basic stuff.

Seedling Warm Ups

So, here's a few figure attempts to get the figure right for "Seedlings."  I tried getting a good sense of how the body would move with it's slightly different structure.

I have fun doing these. Plus, it helps to loosen up my wrist and fingers so my lines will seem more natural and not so forced.
