365 Project, Day 7
So here's day 7. An idea is starting to form in my head of where I want to take this. That will most likely change in the next couple of days. ;)

365 Project, Day 5
All right, with the process that I'm doing with this, I'm growing the canvas instead of shrinking the picture to fit the art inside it. Right now, I'm up to 15 x 20 inches. Let me know if it's a problem and I can figure out a different way to post it.
Anyway, Day 5 of the project. Some action now.

The 365 Day Project.
So, I got inspired by a few different things over the weekend. First and foremost was a jam piece I got to do with a couple exceptional artists at Grand Con. Please don't ask me what it was because we've all sworn to secrecy, under penalty of death.
But I digress. The idea of a drawing coming to life from a constant process of evolution, of adding and modifying and overlaying and fine tuning, with having absolutely no idea (except for a satyric take on the Liefeldian art style) of where it was to end up, was refreshing.
In addition, due to some of the results from the show and my birthday coming up today, I wanted to do something fresh and challenging that will help me grow as an artist and challenge my comfort zone.
So, out of that, the 365 project came to fruition. Here it is: Today, I start out with one little doodle. Tomorrow, I take said doodle and add to it, and so on and so forth, until I have this monstrous thing with 365 additions to it, that started out from just a small 2 minute sketch. Where it will go? I have no clue. Nor do I want to. I want to project to guide and bring me to its own destination.
Enough chatter. Here is Day 001.

Grand Con 2013
I had a blast at Grand Con this year, the first of it's kind. I met a lot of amazingly talented people, met some wonderful fans that made my day every time they said they liked my stuff and rubbed shoulders and had dinner with some famous people of the industry. I felt a bit outclassed, but was honored to be among them.
I'll probably have more to say at a later date, but tonight I'm exhausted and all of the tales I want to tell will take to long.
So, I leave you a few sketches I used to break my new sketchbook:
